You pour into everyone else, now it’s time to nourish you.

I know what it’s like to pour into everyone else while your own wellness quietly slips to the side. As a busy mom, wife, entrepreneur, healthcare professional, and woman of faith, I wanted a lifestyle that honored both my health and faith in Christ, without the pressure.

My journey into holistic wellness coaching began more than a decade ago in a hospital kitchen, and seeing firsthand food’s effect on patients. I’ve worked in various hospitals over the years, taking on many roles, some in leadership and management. My increasing exposure led to growing skepticism about the concept of “care and nutrition.” I noticed how little attention was paid to what patients were fed nutritionally poor options like Ensure and Gatorade that didn’t truly support their recovery.

Then, a passion for helping people and personal development started while mentoring a high school student during my early days in management. That seed grew into a desire to help others grow, not just in skills, but in purpose and wellness.

The real pivotal moment came while working in the Emergency Department. I grew increasingly curious about the deeper connections between nutrition, mental wellness, and lifestyle habits in the context of healing and overall wellbeing.

I couldn’t ignore the contradiction, patients being served foods and beverages that lacked the very nutrition they needed to heal. Observing things like Ensure and Gatorade on meal trays made me question everything.

Seven years ago, I started making changes in my own life, beginning with what I ate. What started as small shifts quickly turned into a transformation. I grew deeply conscious of the ingredients I was putting into my body and the impact they had on my energy, clarity, and overall health. This shift became the foundation for my family’s health as well.

I don’t subscribe to the word “diet.” Eating nutritious, whole foods is not a trend, it’s how we were designed to care for our bodies, the temple God entrusted to us.

To me, genuine wellness is about harmony: connection with God, a sense of purpose, and mindful daily choices that shape our lives, including how we nurture our bodies and minds, and feed our spirits.
